What to consider when buying a Samsung phone in Sri Lanka
Making phones with outstanding cameras has long been a priority for Samsung, but with its latest and greatest flagship products, the company has pushed the envelope even further.
Performance
Samsung phones aren't bad at all. In synthetic testing, they consistently perform well, and their real-world performance in work, casual use, and gaming are often reasonably outstanding. The gadgets' big processors, as well as loads of RAM, are responsible for these speeds.
Exynos processors are used in most of Samsung's flagship phones in Sri Lanka, rather than Snapdragon CPUs available in some international versions. The Galaxy Z folding phones and the 5G variant of the Galaxy S20FE, both of which have Snapdragon CPUs at their core, are the two prominent outliers. In general, the Exynos chips perform slightly worse than their Snapdragon equivalents, although the average user won't notice the difference in most situations.
Display Sizes
Samsung has a long history of producing large phones, with its Note series being the first to bring "phablets" into widespread acceptance over a decade ago. The emphasis on large screens has not waned. Instead, it has seized control. The Samsung Galaxy S21 is the smallest phone in the company's current lineup, with a 6.2-inch display. The Galaxy Note20 Ultra, which has a 6.9-inch display, is on the other extreme of the range.
Network
As more carriers roll out 5G networks across the country, more individuals will be able to take benefit of the super-fast speeds that come with it. Those looking to purchase a Samsung phone will be pleased to learn that many 5G options are available. The Galaxy Z Fold2 was the foremost Galaxy phone to use 5G as a basic feature, and the Galaxy S21 was released later this year. However, Samsung phones with 5G capabilities have been available since the Galaxy S10 5G launched in 2019.
Camara Quality
People want to snap, film, and share more content than before. Thus the camera is one of the essential features of any modern smartphone. Samsung's high-end phones have always been capable shooters, and the company's most recent flagships are among the best yet. 8K video capture, AI video stabilization, and up to four rear-facing cameras are all available on the devices. There's also up to 100x zoom to get a lot of detail, even from afar.
Samsung hasn't forgotten about Galaxy A phones, equipping several of them with multiple cameras. Unfortunately, those phones frequently have fewer camera capabilities than Samsung's most acceptable camera phones, resulting in lower-resolution videos and less stunning photographs.
